True Blue – Debbie & Russ
Debbie & Russ took the decision 2 years ago to renovate and upgrade their lovely home. This began with a real feature extension to the back of the property which was built to house their new kitchen.
WOW! What a room with its pitched roof and Velux windows giving almost an orangery feel – so airy and light. Debbie took the plunge and decided that this room could really take some features and a striking colour Fjord blue was an absolute must.
After 6 months of visiting various competitors Debbie came across Urban through a chance sighting whilst out buying flooring.
The minute she sat down with our designer Toni she knew that this was the end of her search she finally had the right person to create the features and design she so wanted and the bonus being the final price.
Debbie had a vision of a unique seated area which involved a piece of carved solid woods this took some serious design work to make this not only look good but also work and sufficiently support the top.
No fear Toni was here…. Not only devising a structure to hold this piece but also making it flow within the room seamlessly…
Toni made Debbie realise just how many units she would need to house everything in their kitchen. The large pan drawers recommended by Toni are an absolute must for Debbie, she couldn’t live without them now.
This beautiful room is a true delight with its amazing floor complementing the fjord blue shaker perfectly. Debbie and Russ sourced their own worktops and installer which Debbie tells us loved working with our furniture and would definitely be using us in future.
The Bosch appliances included single oven hob and microwave with a black hood and granite sink to bring the scheme all together.
Debbie and Russ told us about a very important factor in this entire project – The budget set by them. Toni is well known for her ability to work to a budget so hence when she asked the question Debbie and Russ found this a great relief after being given ridiculous prices exceeding £12.000 from other companies. It’s always difficult to ask how much a customer wants to spend but it’s a great guide for us to be able to create your dream and keep you’re spend to what you have actually set.
