Space is not always the answer
When Louise came to see us at Urban Kitchens the one thing she stipulated with the vision of her new kitchen was utilising space. In her mind’s eye, she had a tiny kitchen and wanted to create a much better design with the typical triangular working theory and a more eye-pleasing result.
Sometimes a small and compact size works far better than big and spacious with stations spread over large worktops and huge islands to reach over.
Louise has an excellent eye for colour as soon as she came to see us grey was the tone and scheme very on trend and calming yet throws out the walls of a smaller area.
Slab doors in a matt finish with contemporary handles set off the sleek lines and give a very simplistic feel to the whole room” less is more.”
Louise requested a gas hob busy career lady very partial to quick stir-fry’s and meals in minutes! The kitchen cleverly houses a fridge freezer and washing machine all integrated to keep the simple look flowing.
Complementing the stainless steel gas appliance Louise chose a splashback and hood in the same material. Works so well with the grey theme and again very cost effective.
All in all, I’m sure you will agree that with a bit of imagination and smart design the smallest of kitchens can be created not only for functionality but also visually pleasing to the designer’s eye.
