Full property renovations can be the most challenging of projects, you can either rise to the occasion or sink with the drama.
It’s like putting on a major West-end production, getting all the cast to sing from the same song sheet and bring together a final performance is no easy task.
This was definitely the case for Martin and Kirstie. On meeting them and seeing the renovations on their beautiful property the final performance was worthy of a standing ovation.
Urban Kitchens Lancaster – Martin and Kirstie had often driven past Urban in Lancaster and the handle-less white gloss display in the window gave them real inspiration for their kitchen ideas.
A meeting with Steve and a few discussions on what, why and how developed into three alternative plans to view.
Kirstie was amazed that the actual idea in her mind’s eye was exactly what Steve had produced. Bingo the deal was done. No need to traps round other showrooms complete confidence in what Steve was offering a date was set for early 2018.
However best-laid plans and all that the build was delayed for various reasons and the kitchen was only actually installed July 18, a full 12-months from purchase. No problem to us we will accommodate as much as we can to help this rather stressful time in a big project such as this.
WOW is all I can say what a room, every detail covered sleek lines, the ultimate colour palette Grey with splashes of colours in the accessories, lighting and splash-back.
A vast island for the party in the kitchen occasion hides the dishwasher and wine cooler perfectly but offers an amazing amount of storage.
The bank area houses two pullout larders, double Bosch oven, fridge and freezer plus induction hob, this took a bit of getting used to for Kirstie but its a winning appliance now. Everything is in perfect symmetries.
This kitchen plus the exquisite way the whole room has been designed and furnished really is a credit to Martin and Kirstie. I discovered Martin is a part-time ski instructor in the winter over in Austria.
This has certainly been brought back to the build. I walked away with a feeling of the warmth and contemporary influence of being in a chalet in the Alps but in good old England, fantastic job all around.
