Dust Grey Kitchen – A Design Inspiration

On entering James and Natalie’s kitchen, the first thing that struck me was the bold dust grey colour.
Not only is this colour one of the biggest showcased by many companies in the industry. Dust Grey is infrequently seen in actual homes. Simply this colour is really thinking outside the box type colour.
How stunning does this look? It’s so refreshing when a customer actually takes the inspiration of the industry and turns into their own personal dream.
James and Natalie came to Urban Preston after looking around some of the big national stores. They instantly gelled with Toni after being made to feel talked at and sold to with gimmick and knockdown deals by the other companies.
Dust Grey was their desired colour; the rest unfolded around the likes and dislikes. The original building work for the extension and room changes were carried out by James and various friends in trades. This left a fantastic space to play with.
Very cleverly the kitchen colour scheme is carried through into a beautiful living space with a relaxation area and dining area perfect for the children and to entertain family and friends.
The kitchen boasts ample cupboard space. An awe-inspiring wine storage area around the 5-ring burner gas hob and extraction system, convenient when needing a splash of red! James and Natalie already happy with their fridge freezer decided to build this into the design again creating more storage and giving the effect of the appliance being housed.
The rest of the appliances all in black really blend with the grey scheme. I especially loved the black matt handles; which Natalie explained a little like Marmite people either love them or hate them. Personally, I think they are the perfect finishing touch to this show-stopping room. Complete with quartz tops this whole room really does shout out sophistication and style.
