2017 Upcoming Kitchen Trends
The Kitchen is the most important room in the home and therefore becomes the ‘hub’ of the house.
A recent study taken by Britannia Living http://www.britannialiving.co.uk/ shows 52 percent of home owners rated the kitchen as the most financially abundant room in the house.
Urban Kitchens have access to all the latest trends and colourways (as shown below), so you can get your ‘hub’ trendy and looking the part.
Copper Accents
Copper accents seem to be a trend that is becoming ever more popular recently, as having a simple kitchen with neutral colours, always stands the test of time. These copper accents will be present in handles, appliances and accessories.
It’s All Just Black & White
The anticipation of monochromatic tones being used has been backed-up with sales.
These kitchens look absolutely amazing, clean and modern – especially when you drop some subtle hues in there. Also, more greys will be used and are highly sought after.
Have no fear, that classic black and white color palette is here to stay through 2017. How it will change though? Think bolder, with higher contrast, and rustic touches, blending modern style with a splash of country aesthetic.
Monochrome Tones
Urban Kitchens have this ‘base’ covered also, with the Image and Integra Cloud Grey kitchens (shown here).
While white will always remain a classic, gray cabinets will be dominating the kitchen in 2017. If you’re on the lookout for soft dove gray cabinets mixed with warm woods look no further than Urban. We can offer the ultimate range to beat “50 shades of Grey” hands down…
Spring see’s the launch of our Cloud Grey Collection.
Denim Doors
Dulux Paints have just awarded ‘Denim Drift’ the 2017 colour of the year and been said to be the ‘must have’ colour of 2017 – https://www.dulux.co.uk/en/articles/colour-futures-2017
Urban Kitchens are proud to say we have kitchens in this colour, so you will become a trend setter and your friends… well, they’ll have ‘house-envy’.
Urban kitchens are proudly launching the new Sky Blue door in our range early spring – We will keep you posted on availability.
Back to Black
Expect black steel and other burnished metals to take the place of the polished metallic.
