Mr & Mrs Murray
When Mr & Mrs Murray took on the task of making a room to be proud of, they carefully shopped about and talked to friends in order to create the vision they longed for…
Not only did Mr Murray knock 2 rooms into one creating an amazing space to play with but he also took on the job of Fitting the kitchen himself and this is not a task for the faint hearted……
What a result…. Upon entering this spacious well-proportioned room I instantly felt the warmth and love that’s gone into creating and dressing this room. Not only is this kitchen positioned in the heart of this house but this kitchen really is the heart of this home!
Mrs Murray visited a few of our competitors before deciding to venture into town and see Urban’s selection. This included a local firm not dissimilar to us and a large chain competitor who boost heavily on the TV of their amazing discounts…. But alas we beat them both on price and quality as we try to and succeed in most cases.
“Fabulous showroom not cluttered and each kitchen felt like a real room setting and not cramped.” The words of Mrs Murray love customer feedback.. Steve yet again worked his magic creating a beautiful design which ticked all the boxes and with a most helpful manner and NOT pushy sales talk… Guided but left to make the final decision is what we pride ourselves on at URBAN it’s your kitchen at the end of the day! Mr Murray expressed how professional Steve was and how helpful and on hand when query’s on the fitting front arose during construction. Our units arrive rigged and solid backed which is of great relief to many DIY experts and tradesmen I’m assured.
The white handless units not only accommodate Bosch appliances including double oven combination microwave induction hob dishwasher and Fridge freezer but also run into the dining area to create a look of furniture, marrying in all the areas of the kitchen. The island is a great social space for Mrs Murray and when the grandchildren visit the stools come in very handy to sit and chat at….. A coffee station was a must for these occasions cleverly designed on the end of the larder run so not to overcrowd the entrance too much by the door…
Mr & Mrs Murray sourced their own solid stone which adds that beautiful finish and Germanic feel to the design. Contrasting granite sink and square contemporary tap blends nicely with the clean lines….. Overall this room has been transformed and all for a costing that really didn’t break the bank Mrs Murray felt she had freedom to choose in all areas including appliances furniture and the sink and tap with a quality that really is high standard… A big Thank you to Mr & Mrs Murray for allowing us to showcase their beautiful kitchen and a very big thank you to lovely Dexter the cockerpoo who gave me a warm welcome and blends in beautiful with the décor!! Well done to our partnership on this project…
