Shades of Grey – Grey has literally blown the kitchen design market into another level
Grey has literally blown the kitchen design market into another level this season.
It’s the most versatile tone that comes in more than the well-known 50 shades – Dust, cloud, calm, graphite, steel, dark, light, gunmetal, metallic to name but a few. The clever bit comes in the mixing and enhancing of these tones.
This kitchen design is the most classic example of thinking outside the box and daring to mix these shades to create a room of real luxury with a mix of opulence and style.
Not every kitchen design needs a massive budget with ridiculous expenditures to get the required look and feel.
This is undoubtedly one of the most stunning kitchens photographed for Urban Kitchens, and when hearing the budget, I was shocked, to say the least.
Stephanie is a very busy career lady running a successful beauty salon within her home town.
Time is not something she has much of. A sanctuary to come home to with a calming feel enabling her to cook and relax is what was very much needed.
After meeting Toni and discussing the plans of her extension, Stephanie felt that Toni could create and offer what she required for her new project and in the time scale needed.
Meeting took place, plan produced, tweaked to requirements then finalised all in a window of opportunity. “It doesn’t have to be an endless amount of visits and conversations the key is to listen to the client’s needs and wishes then create their dream” – Toni tells us.
Beautiful is all I can say – A mix of Grey mist and Dust Grey Solent with complementing white laminate tops give real furniture feel to this room. Cleverly including the black American fridge freezer and freestanding washing machine Stephanie already had. Bringing integrated and freestanding together in a plan can sometimes spoil the look, not in this case. Bosch built-in oven, hob, extractor and microwave excellent appliance choice. The brick tile wall just gives the industrial feel and bring this room together ideally.
A splash of colour to take us through to the lounge shouts again how grey really is an excellent base to start from. The ultimate social island for those cocktail gathering gives the final tick to this well-planned kitchen. Not to mention the added cocktail station every girl’s dream!
Thank you so much, Stephanie, for letting us showcase your beautiful kitchen. This is the best example of a Quality Kitchen Design at a very affordable price.
