Using finance to your advantage
Finance is an option that many people take due to how flexible it is these days. You can tailor it to suit your needs and effectively control your cash or spend it in other ways.
After spending most of the last 12 months both working from home, Gary and Rachel began to redesign their living space. Rachel had the idea that to move and not improve was the best option. On the other hand, Gary thought outside the box and came up with the idea of opening the downstairs area completely. This entailed removing the cloakroom and walls to create ample space to house the kitchen, making the once galley kitchen into a family room.
A visit to Urban to discuss a worktop and door change was the next step. This became an exercise of letting us redesign and price up what it would cost to put in a brand-new kitchen, including carcases and doors!!

We did just that…… Gary and Rachel could not believe the cost!! After several quotes for just doors from other companies still not beating our price, the deal was done. Gary and Rachel placed the order but very cleverly opted for our finance deal to spread the payments starting 2022. Buy now pay later kept their cash in their pocket and made the payments easily affordable to not feel the cost!! Very savvy indeed.
I am sure you will all agree this kitchen certainly has the wow factor! It’s been a pleasure to work with Gary and Rachel. Both had great design ideas. And lots of personal touches really has created a social space for cooking and entertaining and chilling out in and taking that well-earned break when working from home.
The colour scheme is calming yet on trend with the current industrial look. Lots of clever space-saving ideas enabled all the white goods to be hidden. This creates a feel of furniture rather than the traditional kitchen image.
Gary and Rachel sourced their own appliances and quartz tops and used their own fitter. They used GQ worktops in Manchester and rated their service highly. All in all, the results speak for themselves. A total restyle of an area done to a high standard with a very affordable plan in place and all wish lists ticked off, right down to Rachels dream of her plantation shutters! Thanks, guys, for letting us showcase your new living space it’s been great working with you both.
Why not call in to see us over the bank holiday and look at our finance options. Spreading the cost enables dreams and wish lists to come true.
